Angela Daniel Jewellery’s “Angela’s Angels”
will be out in full force again at Ellerslie March 8 in their quest
to find the best dressed female race goer at First Sovereign Trust
Diamond Day.
Female punters attending the glamorous conclusion to Auckland Cup
Week have the exciting opportunity to win $30,000 worth of diamonds,
sponsored by Angela Daniel Jewellery.
The celestial beings will be joined by Angela Daniel herself, as
they hunt out the best dressed race attendees throughout the day,
scoring individuals on their overall racing style, including how
they’ve used jewellery to enhance their look.
Up to 14 best dressed race goers will then go in the draw to be
matched with a horse in the Diamond Stakes and the entrant with
the winning horse will take home a $25,000 diamond. Five runners
up each take home a $1000 Angela Daniel Jewellery voucher in consolation.
Angela Daniel says she and her angels are looking forward to taking
part in Diamond Day for the second year in a row.
“Diamond Day is the ultimate Auckland girls day out –
and what better incentive to frock up and be fabulous than the chance
of heading home with a diamond at the end of the day! Jewellery
is just as much a part of glam racewear as your hat or fascinator.
And diamonds are, of course, a girl’s greatest accessory.”
To celebrate First Sovereign Trust Diamond Day, the Auckland-based
jeweller has also created a limited edition horseshoe necklace.
The necklace, which features a pink sapphire on the horseshoe pendant,
is set to be one of the most sought after pieces for race going
fillies this Cup Week. The pendants, on a fashionable extra long
chain, will be available in-store from 22nd February for $195.

the ultimate diamond prize, Angela has compiled her top tips for
wearing jewellery at the races – a handy heads up for those
who will want to know what the judges and angels will be looking
